Two Adaptation Fund proposals
Developing two full funding proposals for the Adaptation Fund, built on nationwide consultations with government, civil society, the private sector and academia.
The assignment
The assignment is to develop and deliver two comprehensive funding proposals to the Adaptation Fund. Nationwide consultations with central and regional government, civil society organisations, private sector representatives and academic institutions define the intervention framework, priority areas and criteria for selecting beneficiaries. The proposals follow the donor's templates and guidelines.
What we did
- Nationwide consultations to identify activity pillars, priority areas and a transparent beneficiary selection process
- Review of comments from the concept note approval process
- Drafting the full proposals to the Adaptation Fund's requirements
- A monitoring and evaluation framework aligned with the donor's impact criteria
- Partnerships and coordination for implementation after funding approval
