Drafting Armenia's Country Programme for the Green Climate Fund and building the capacity of the national designated authority.
The assignment
In 2018, under a state procurement contract, we developed a draft Country Programme for submission to the Green Climate Fund, prepared guidelines for specialists of the designated authority, ran seminars in the regions for regional and community representatives and private investors, and launched a website explaining how to apply to the GCF.
In 2019 and 2020, under the Readiness Support project, we reviewed the functions, legal acts and decisions of the national designated authority, identified gaps, assessed its institutional, human and technical capacity and its relationships with stakeholders, and prepared a SWOT analysis.
