M1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Bavra highway
Environmental, health, safety and social management for the completion of about 34 km of the M1 highway, from km 37+545 to km 71+435.
The assignment
Under contract CW-ICB-T2-2022/2, we support the completion of construction of about 34.0 km of the M1 highway. The work keeps the construction sites, workers and nearby residents within the environmental, health, safety and social requirements of the project.
Earlier on the same corridor, for the reconstruction of about 8 km near Agarak community (km 29+600 to km 37+545), we prepared the ESIA under Armenian requirements, ran public consultations and followed the project through state environmental expertise (2017-2018).
